Patricia brings a strategic perspective to every Blue Butterfly project. In her role as Storyteller, she loves to infuse innovative marketing strategies and tactics with leading industry practices to help clients creatively tell their brand story.

For nearly 30 years, Patricia has been helping shopping center developers and brands boost profits by implementing creative sales, marketing, and real estate strategies. Retail real estate is in Patricia’s DNA, she’s a fourth-generation retailer.  Her family pioneered a number of industry firsts including: first to recognize the value of adding retail to the empty common area space, first to launch a third-party specialty leasing company where they fully developed and created specialty leasing programs for nearly major developer in the country.

Patricia continued this proud family tradition when she founded the first industry trade publication, Specialty Retail Report. and the first Shopping Center Advertising & Sponsorship Conference. Patricia also developed the first specialty leasing designation that was adopted as the industry gold standard for training and accreditation. She also launched SPREE, the world’s largest specialty retail conference. In addition, Patricia has served as spokesperson for premier platforms such as American Express’s Small Business Saturday and continues to be recognized as the leading authority in specialty retail, routinely appearing in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times,. She sold her business to the International Council of Shopping Centers prior to her co-founding Blue Butterfly.

When she’s not busy consulting for companies in the specialty retail space, Patricia is dedicated to mentoring up-and-comers and giving back to the community, this includes co-teaching MBA classes.
